Sell files and license keys. Deliver them the moment they pay.
Mint Downloads puts each buyer's files and license keys on the Thank you page, their Order status page and in a download email — with signed links that expire, download limits that can't be dodged, and keys that are never handed out twice.
Thank you!
Everything a digital product needs after checkout
Customers get their files without hunting through email; you keep control of every link.
A Downloads block on the Thank you page shows the buyer's files and license keys as soon as the order is paid. The same block on the Order status page lets them come back any time — no account or email needed.
Every link is signed for one file of one order and expires. With a download limit, each device counts once per six hours, so a paused or resumed download doesn't use up the limit — and email scanners or link previews don't count at all.
Upload files up to 5 GB each, in parts, with progress. If the connection drops, choose the same file again and it continues where it stopped. Buyers can pause and resume downloads too.
Import keys from a list or CSV, attach a pool to a product or variant, and each item bought gets its own key — even if Shopify sends the same order twice. Low-stock warnings, and waiting orders get keys when you restock.
See each order's files and downloads, reset a count, extend or remove expiry, replace links that were shared, resend the email or copy the links to send yourself. Refunds and cancellations can turn access off automatically.
Upload a new version of a file and every buyer who has it gets the new version through the link they already have. Attach files to a whole product or to single variants, like a PDF and an EPUB edition.

No theme code is changed. The blocks are added in Shopify's checkout and theme editors.
Drop PDFs, ZIPs, audio, video, fonts or software into the app. Large files upload in parts with progress.
Pick products or single variants and the files — and on Pro, the license key pool — each one delivers.
Place it on the Thank you and Order status pages in the checkout editor. Paid orders are delivered from then on.

Questions merchants ask
Where do customers get their files?
On the Thank you page right after paying, on their Order status page (signed in, or opened from the order confirmation email Shopify sends) and in a download email from the app. The Thank you and Order status blocks work on every Shopify plan except Starter, and they don't depend on email.
What stops customers from sharing download links?
Links are signed for one file of one order and expire: after a day on the order pages, and in emails when the download period ends (a year at most). On Pro you can set a download limit and a download period per store or per product. You can also replace an order's links, which stops every older link working.
How are downloads counted?
Once per device (IP address and browser) per six hours. Resuming a download, a download manager fetching parts in parallel, or retrying doesn't count again. Requests that start at the same moment can't get around the limit: the check and the count happen in one database transaction.
How big can files be?
Up to 5 GB per file. Free includes 1 GB of storage and 5 products with downloads; Pro includes 25 GB and unlimited products. Downloads and bandwidth are never metered.
What happens when an order is refunded or cancelled?
By default, downloads turn off for a cancelled order and for items refunded in full; links then say the download isn't available. You can change this in Settings and turn downloads back on for any order.
What does the app store about my customers?
No names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses. It keeps Shopify order and line IDs, the files and license keys delivered and download counts. The buyer's email address is read from Shopify only to send the download email and is never stored.
